Visit Brussels
As the capital city of Belgium, Brussels is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, cosmopolitan city, full of restaurants, bars and shops - a city embracing the future but with more than a nod to its colorful past.
In the lower city you’ll find Grand Place and the famous Manneken Pis Fountain, the symbol of Brussels. Sights such as the Cathedral of St. Michel, Place du Sablon and Mont des Arts and the city’s main shopping complexes are also located here.
Visitors can delight in fine museums and Michelin-starred restaurants (the city claims more of those than Paris), as well as some of the best classical music and opera in Europe. There are many other things to see, but some of your time is best spent soaking up the atmosphere, sipping hot chocolate at one of the many street side cafes.
During the autumn, enjoy the Brussels Flower Show or even the Flanders Festival which runs from March to October. There is always something to see or do in Brussels
Dates to remember:

Local Cuisine Brussels has an ability to represent faithfully both traditioinal belgian cuisines and international cuisines. It seems almost necessary to visit the restaurant on the Grand Place for a serving of mussels and chips.
